I couldn't recommend this beautiful store highly enough! I bought a bracelet from here a while ago and recently lost it, I was so sad and I popped into Origen in the hope they still had them but no. Within minutes Rose Marie got in touch with her supplier and a replacement bracelet will be here in 6 weeks - thank you!!! Whilst there Rose Marie and ? (sorry I didn't catch your name, my bad) helped me find a wonderful blouse for an upcoming special occasion and even a pair of jeans that, for the first time ever, I don't have to rush off and have taken up. I felt a million dollars in my new clothes and can't thank the ladies enough for helping me find confidence. This really is a wonderful store, full of surprises, with warmth and empathy all the way. I’ve been a devoted customer of Origen Imports since discovering their first store in Southbank some 15 years ago, and it remains one of my absolute favourite boutiques. The clothing, jewellery, accessories and gifts are beautifully curated—elegant, high quality, and always with a unique edge. I constantly get compliments on my pieces from here! Rose Marie is just devine and her team are warm, so stylish, and truly know their craft. I never feel rushed or pressured, and their thoughtful styling advice always helps me find pieces that look and feel just right. One of the things I love most is the special little ritual when you buy something: it’s carefully wrapped, and then handed to you with a smile, like a celebration that this beautiful piece is now passed from Origen to be cared for and treasured by you. Origen is truly a gem.

I recently purchased the most gorgeous embroidered top online from this shop. It was more beautiful “in the flesh” than I expected. My parcel arrived in a timely fashion and was beautifully wrapped showing great care, attention and style. Attached was a lovely handwritten message. I regularly pop into Origen Imports and are never disappointed. I always find something a bit different. The staff are always very helpful and will go out of their way to help.

In the relentless hassle of the on-line shopping world, one sometimes finds a very special place to visit and shop. My wife, Cas, and I have been visiting one such place for many years. Originally in Collins Place and now in Malvern, Origen Imports is one of our favourite shops. Fabulous clothes, jewelry and international artefacts are matched with lovely, friendly and caring staff. Rose Marie and Amy are always so helpful – nothing is a challenge.
My real assessment of the store is to see the excitement on Cas’s face when we visit and always leave with some gorgeous clothes, bags or other fun things. We both love the Ayala Bar jewelry, so many South American accessories and super Desigual bags.
But the stand-out is Rose Marie’s label “Pixi Carnival” for the engaging designs, lovely fabric and beautiful hand-made finish. [...]

Ohhh Origen, once again you made me feel like you were created just for me when I was there on the weekend. I've been shopping here for many years now, and the experience has always been wonderful—whether I'm looking for a gift or something special for myself. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and they make sure that I find something that speaks to my personality. They have such an eclectic selection of products that are curated so beautifully, but somehow, they make sure to keep the variety tight enough so that nothing gets lost in the mix. It's hard to really describe how much I love this place!

I thoroughly enjoy walking into this store. Products are unique and last forever, things you can wear over and over again and not feel like they’re dated. Anything I’ve purchased from this store in the past whether it be a beautiful bag, a lovely knit or unique pants, I’ve always had such lovely comments and inquiries as to where I’ve purchased from. I highly recommend one giving themself the experience of entering into such a unique shop. Simply a drive by always catches my attention with a glance in their windows. What makes the experience so much more personal is the wonderful staff who are always there to greet you with a smile and valuable advice.

Rose Marie and her team are experts in making this experience a no-pressure, enjoyable time for the customer . With women’s chain clothing stores so prolific now, it’s so good to shop at Origen where you know you will find something gorgeous to take home that you won’t see absolutely everywhere and at a very reasonable price too.
